An app that finds the work your team repeats and runs it. A console that shows what comes back.
Each person installs the app on their own computer: it watches how they work, finds the tasks they repeat, writes them down and runs them in the tools they already use. The company gets the console: every process, every run and the hours returned.
Luminars finds the processes nobody wrote down.
Once a day Luminars reads the day's work and looks for jobs that come back: the same apps, the same data, in the same order. Each one lands in your library as a proposal with its evidence, and nothing turns on by itself.
Every proposal says why it is there.
Recurring jobs, rare jobs, habits worth a look.
Runs once a day, in the background.
A dismissed proposal does not come back.
Show a process once and Luminars writes it.
Press Record, do the job in your own tools and say what you are doing: when you stop, the draft is written as readable steps, with what each takes in, what it gives out and which system it touches. Then Dolly asks about what a screen cannot show, one question at a time; open questions do not block the process.
Do it, show it or just say it.
Every step shows where it comes from.
Change it by telling Dolly.
Every change is a version you can undo.
Every process runs on your computer, as steps you can read.
Turn a process on and it runs on your computer as a transcript: every step visible, every tool call named, and it stops or asks wherever you told it to. It is not a click replay: it works from what the process means, in the tools you connected, and on screen where there is no connector.
Ready to run in minutes, without IT.
It asks before the steps you choose.
On a schedule, or when you press Run.
A failed run tells you which step failed and why.
The console shows what your team runs and what comes back.
The company sees every process, who owns it, whether it is active, how many times it ran and the hours it returned compared with doing it by hand. It never shows a recording, a keystroke or an audio file.
Every process, every run.
Hours returned per person, per week.
What to turn on next.
Add a colleague from the console.
Take any process into n8n or your agent tools. It stays yours.
Any process exports as an n8n workflow or as an Agent Skill, with a report of which steps run on their own and which still need a person. Exports are generated from the process, and they stay yours with or without a plan.
Imports into a standard n8n.
Any agent tool can open the skill.
Steps that need a person are marked.
Yours even if you cancel.
Your first two weeks with Luminars.
Install, then three minutes with Dolly.
Download, sign in and grant the permissions the app asks for: four on macOS, one on Windows. Then Dolly asks your role, the tasks you do every week and the apps you do them in, so the first proposals are about your job.
One install, four permissions on macOS.

Processes are found, or recorded, and written.
While you work, Luminars looks once a day for what comes back and proposes it with its evidence; for a process you want now, you record it once. Minutes later the process is written as readable steps and Dolly asks about the exceptions.
Found in the background.
Or recorded by you.
Written in minutes.
The why, in your words.
Turn it on and watch the hours come back.
Turn a process on and it runs on your computer, on a schedule or when you press Run, as a transcript you can read and stop. Every run adds its minutes and its by-hand estimate to the console, and you can export it to n8n or your agent tools whenever you want.
Turn on in one click.
Runs on your computer while it is on.
Hours returned from the first run.
Export any time.
A process is not a recording of your clicks. It is the steps, the data and the decisions.
A process says what each step takes in, what it gives out, which system it touches and who does it: the app, the AI or you. That is why it survives a redesigned button, can ask a question halfway through, and runs on the person's own computer rather than on a server.
What it does not do yet.
Discovery
It needs a few days of ordinary work; it runs once a day, not live; a proposal never turns itself on; excluded apps and scheduled pauses add nothing.
Recording
Writing the draft needs the AI, so without a connection the recording waits on the computer; discarding a take removes the draft, not the ordinary collection; a single step cannot be re-recorded yet.
Running
Only while the computer is on, never on a server; a step in an app with no connector runs on screen while you watch; a process whose tool is not connected cannot be turned on until it is.
Exports
n8n cannot reach the desktop, so those steps become manual stops; app actions arrive as placeholders you connect inside n8n; exports carry no recordings and no evidence.
You control what is collected. Pause it, exclude apps, choose how long it is kept.
Pause collection, exclude apps and set scheduled pauses. Choose how long local screen and audio recordings are kept. In this beta, Help improve Luminars uploads original screen and audio recordings and investigation archives to Luminars for evaluation. You can turn it off in Settings → Data. Your company receives work findings, not these archives.

Every macOS release is signed with a Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so macOS checks it before it runs on your computers.

Frequently asked questions
What is captured?
On your computer: the screen, the text on it, where clicks and keystrokes happen, and the microphone as a transcript. You can pause it, exclude apps and set scheduled pauses; screen and audio are deleted after 14 days unless you choose another period.
Where does it go?
Process descriptions and run records sync to your workspace. AI requests use the selected provider. In this beta, Help improve Luminars uploads original screen and audio recordings and investigation archives to Luminars for evaluation. You can turn it off in Settings → Data. Your company receives work findings, not these archives.
Does it replay my clicks?
No. A process is what the work means (which data, which systems, which decisions), and a run does the steps in the tools you connected.
What happens when a step needs a decision?
The run stops and shows exactly what it is about to do. Your answer lets it continue and is recorded on the run.
Can I edit a process?
Yes, in the Flow tab or by telling Dolly what to change. Every change is a saved version you can compare and undo.
Which tools can it use?
The tools you connect from the app (Slack, GitHub, Linear, Notion, Asana) and the ones a process names. A step in an app with no connector runs on screen while you watch.
Does it run without me?
Yes, on your computer while it is on, as a transcript you can read. It stops at any point and asks before a decision you chose to approve; nothing runs on a server.
Do I need IT?
No. Install takes one click, collection starts right away and every process Luminars writes already runs. Exporting to n8n or an agent tool is optional.
Which operating systems?
macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, and Windows. The Windows build is newer.
